Many courses are graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Graduate professional development courses are transcribed for credit using the standard A–F grading scale.

A course is considered complete on the date the student fulfills all course requirements, including all required assignments and the post-course survey. Once completed, students may access their account and print an unofficial document showing course completion. However, a course is not considered finalized until a grade is assigned on a student's transcript. Once the course is completed, students can expect to be able to obtain their transcript from the National Student Clearinghouse within seven (7) business days from the date a course is completed. Transcripts are the only official student record.
